1 The Alphabet Dining Architecture

Alphabet Dining operates on a unique, time-locked discovery algorithm organised into 26 distinct calendar fortnights per year.

• Journey Modes Upon joining, you may choose between an Alphabetical progression (A through Z consecutively) or a Randomised experience. This selection strictly governs which dining categories are active for your account during any given fortnight.
• Geographic Matchmaking Our platform utilises "Rings of Relevance" to surface dining options. Results are prioritised by matching your current device location or saved profile location with the exact Suburb, Postcode, Local Government Area (LGA), and State of registered venues.

2 User Accounts & Data Integrity

Alphabet Dining serves two distinct user types: Diners and Business Owners. Both are bound by the following data integrity rules:

• Account Security: You are strictly responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.
• Geographic Accuracy: You agree to provide accurate information during registration, specifically your suburb and postcode, to ensure our radius-based search algorithms function correctly.
• Business Claims: Users claiming a Business Profile must be an authorised representative of that venue. Fraudulent claims will result in immediate account termination and potential legal action.

3 Community Guidelines & Discoveries

To maintain high-quality, authentic insights, all members (both Free Explorers and Premium Members) may submit "Discoveries" (reviews) subject to strict constraints:

Moderation Rights: Alphabet Dining reserves the exclusive right to review, flag, alter, or permanently remove user-generated content that violates our community standards, manipulates the `average_rating` system, or is deemed fraudulent.

4 Subscriptions, Tiers & Promotions

Alphabet Dining offers various access tiers. By upgrading to a paid tier, you agree to our billing terms:

• Diner Tiers (Free vs. Premium) While base discovery is free, Premium subscriptions unlock exclusive dining deals. Member-exclusive vouchers are generated for single-use dynamically and are strictly non-transferable. Attempting to duplicate, manipulate, or resell vouchers will result in immediate termination.
• Business Tiers (Verified vs. Promoted) Businesses may claim a free "Verified" profile. Upgrading to a "Promoted" subscription guarantees Top Pick placement and Gold Crown badging. Promoted subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and may be cancelled at any time without lock-in contracts.
• Payment Processing All premium subscriptions, recurring billing, and business promotions are processed securely through our PCI-compliant third-party gateways (e.g., Square/Stripe). We do not store your raw credit card data on our servers.

5 Limitation of Liability

Alphabet Dining is purely a discovery facilitator and acts as an intermediary. We are not responsible for the actual food, service, safety, or operating hours provided by the independent businesses listed on our platform. Any disputes regarding a dining experience or voucher redemption must be resolved directly with the venue management. Furthermore, while we employ defense-in-depth security to ensure system uptime, we are not liable for temporary service interruptions, data loss, or missed dining opportunities.

6 Governing Law & Severability

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes arising from the use of this platform will be resolved exclusively within the relevant local jurisdictions of NSW.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that the remainder of these Terms will otherwise remain in full force and effect.
